Phantom Blade Zero Weapons: Blades & Phantom Edges Database
30+ primary weapons and 25 Phantom Edges are confirmed. This database lists every named weapon verified in official material and hands-on previews — the rest lands at launch.

Individual stats and full movesets are pre-launch unknowns — we only list weapons with named, sourced behavior. Everything else waits for launch verification.
The confirmed arsenal
The August 17 State of Play confirmed 30+ main weapons plus 25 Phantom Edges, and stressed that each plays differently — new weapons change movesets and mechanics, not just damage numbers. Every weapon below has a named source in our materials; the table grows as more are verified.
| Weapon | Type | Confirmed behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Sanguine | Long sword | Soul's default blade; rapid tumbling attack chains that shred breached enemies. |
| Drunken Sword | Sword | Builds intoxication energy while swaying and stumbling — drunken-master techniques in the style of kungfu cinema. |
| White Serpent / Crimson Viper | Twin blades | A paired set — one blade can be thrown for ranged attacks. |
| Soft Snake Sword | Flexible blade | Whip-like sword that wraps around enemy defenses and deflects certain attacks. |
| Seamless Death | Chakram pair | Fast close-range combos or thrown for solid ranged damage. |
| Jagged Edge | Greatsword | Enormous heavy blade for measured, punishing swings. |
| Man-Cutter | Halberd | Enormous halberd with a charged smash — an exploration key as much as a weapon. |
| Bashpole | Warhammer | Smashes through weakened floors and sends groups flying; claimed from the boss Wan Jun Coppermaul. |
| Flaming Mane | Lion mask | Phantom Edge that spews flame — burns clustered enemies alive. |
| Ghost Blades | Ranged set | Long-range Phantom Edges including the Tiger Cannon and even a flamethrower. |
How loadouts work
You carry two primary weapons and two Phantom Edges at once. Each blade has unique combinations and a perk or special ability; blades also carry a power surge that functions as an ultimate. Phantom Edges are limited-use — a powerful bow, a flame-spewing mask, a cannon — the toolkit you reach for when the situation calls for it.
Weapon categories matter
Not every weapon fits every situation. Fists and hammers penetrate strong shields; flexible blades handle defenders; Phantom Edges cover range and crowd control. Switching weapons is a build decision, and upgrades, accessories and reforging tie it all together — details on the builds page.
What is not confirmed yet
Full stat tables, upgrade trees, complete accessory lists and the rest of the 30+ weapon roster have not been shown. Anything unnamed here is a launch-day verification task — we will not guess. Combat fundamentals are on the combat system page, and boss-claimed weapons are tagged in the boss tracker.

Weapons questions
How many weapons are in Phantom Blade Zero?
S-GAME confirmed 30+ primary weapons and 25 Phantom Edges at the August 17 State of Play. The PlayStation Store's older copy says "20+ unique Phantom Edges" — the State of Play number is the newer official one.
What are Phantom Edges?
Secondary weapons with limited uses — a range that includes bows, cannons, lances, axes and hammers. You equip two alongside your two primary blades.
Do weapons play differently?
Yes — each has its own moveset and mechanics, not a stat bump. The Drunken Sword builds intoxication energy for drunken-master techniques; the Soft Snake Sword wraps around guards and deflects attacks.
Can weapons reach areas normal movement can't?
Yes. The Bashpole warhammer smashes through weakened floors, and the Man-Cutter halberd's charged smash breaks what blocks the path — certain regions only open once you claim these weapons.
Where do weapons come from?
Defeating enemies can unlock their weapons — the arsenal expands as you win, per the State of Play.
